The North West Universities in collaboration with Innovate UK are hosting a Business Showcase to celebrate the 40th Anniversary
of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs).
Launched in 1975, it is one of the UK’s longest standing government supported alliances between commerce and academia. It aims to help businesses improve their competitiveness, productivity and performance by accessing the knowledge, technology and skills available within UK universities.
The event will provide the opportunity to learn more about KTP from business leaders who have successfully completed KTP projects and provides the opportunity to network with other innovative businesses. Representatives from each University will provide advice on accessing KTP funding and specialist academics will be on hand to discuss how a KTP could help organisations innovate and achieve organisational growth aspirations.
This event is a must-attend for any business which:
. Has the capacity and ambition for high growth
. Is looking to significantly increase profitability
. Is registered in the UK
. Employs at least 5 people
. Turns over more than £0.5m a year
. Has been running for at least 2 years
